Hand forged wrought iron Gyuto, with West Auckland Tulip wood, bone and copper. Core steel is 80crv2 carbon steel, and wrought iron was sourced from an old wagon wheel at the Wairarapa race coarse. A fun bit of history is this one of a kind kitchen tool. The wrought iron cladding on the blade adds a unique “wood grain” like appearance, plus gives addition durability to the knife. Blade is 23.5cm from tip to heel.
