Hand Forged Nakiri
Hand forged carbon steel Nakiri or vegetable cleaver. Made with 1095 carbon steel, and handle is brass and stabilised Tawa. Blade is 16cm from tip to heel, and thinner than a typical cleaver.
This is one of my favourite knife profiles, excellent for slicing and dicing, and mostly vegetable preparation. The wide blade also helpful for picking up food from chopping board and moving to bowl or pan.
